Hi, looking for a 7xxx alu monometal yoyo. What do people recommend? Been considering trying a Recognition Redux, but open to suggestions. Preferably with a why as well 🙂 ---

2nd the Wilderness 7075. Truly one of the best performance monometals ever made. And there are top level players not even on W1LD who agree with me on this, it’s stupid good (if performance is what you’re after). ---

Seen it on a few top 2024 lists. I am intrigued, the shape looks a little weird to me but i am looking for performance so i don’t really care. Currently have a shutter, colossus vi, graviton-y, papercut and deviant+. Find myself grabbing the wider ones, deviant and graviton most often. ---

Just recommended both of these earlier today But the unprld hash has quickly become one of my favorite yoyos. Its comfortable in the hand, its a great size, and its capped, and i love capped yoyos The Chunk by Jake Bullock has the classic dunk almost organic shape, is capped, and is just super fun overall. Ive been using it as my main chill 5a yoyo lately ---

I’ll throw in an oldie, but definitely a goodie and one that gets recommended time and time again—OD Top Deck. It’s got great power, super stable and both of mine are eerily quiet. To me, it feels almost like a monometal bimetal. It’s usually the throw I reach for when trying to learn something new. They are currently available, too! ---

Top Deck never jived with me but I am the only person I know that feels that way. Now the Wyvern, that thing has exceeded my expectations, haven’t tried the boosted version ---

Boosted Wyvern is my favorite OD in 7075 and it’s not even close. ---

Lol, I’ve been playing it religiously since I got it, just didn’t realize it was 7075. Man, would love to see another run but totally understand if retired OP, find an emotion for sure ---

It really depends on what you are looking for but Imho the Freesolo by Onedrop is an awesome 7075 monometal for the money. ---

I’d second this, too! Emotion is incredibly good for all the reasons the Top Deck is. Both have been in my rotation since getting them. ---
