I don’t think it bothers me as much play wise as it does just looking at it. What you’re describing (the small step), is “unattractive” to me

I have felt this before, but never been able to pinpoint what it was. It happens so rarely that it doesn’t really bug me.

I’m positive I’ve not paid any attention to this and now the next time I give a stepped yoyo like this a throw I’ll be watching for the transition and then again on a yoyo that either has little or no step and see if maybe I can definitely add something to this thread.
