-Boring video alert-
Gave this another go with a vintage 1998 Stealth Raider (double looped). My final number on this go was **215**.
7.5 foot ceiling, had to sit on the floor., neck support of the couch definitely helped a lot…is that cheating? haha
I reached a moment of zen and lost count at some point…but just kept going. This is so much fun! 😁

Got some great input on this trick in Cleveland last week.
So glad to get help, but now I have to try to break some bad habits and in a way I feel like I am starting over. It seems to be one of those tricks that can always be improved on.
But if it was easy, everyone would do it ;).

Well, the first thing I was doing was maybe not throwing high enough on the fwd throw, it’s a pretty shallow angle or V . The second thing is I was maybe throwing too hard, i have to develop the feel for letting gravity do more of the work, and focus on keeping the yo-yo centered. That’s most of it, but it really does feel like I have to change old habits.
Oh, and I had heard that the yo-yo shouldn’t get super close to your throw hand, but they get very close, Bill de Boisblanc says he sometimes rolls it right by his thumb.

Ok, yes, I’m pretty sure it is 2026, whatever. So I am still working on STM.
New goal, 25. I did open a competition grade yo-yo to practice with.
You guys think I can’t do it, but I am crazy stubborn, crazy at any rate.. I will keep you posted.
