# Learned how to wind string today.

So, I’m the kind of guy that likes different color combinations and whatnot. Aesthetics are important to me, and while I like the yoyo string that exists, I want to be able to pick individual string for individual yoyos. Decided to learn how to wind my own. Watched a few youtube videos and gave it a shot. I wound 5 today, 3 turned out pretty good.

I went with 7 winds, and that worked pretty well. Thinking I could have gone 6. The cheapo duncans feel 100x better with these strings. The Yomega is responding better, but still spins well. I’m enjoying the idea of wind as I need and customize based on the color of the yoyo. I kinda wish I’d have bought blue, too.
