I just learned most of ladder escape and what I noticed is once I get to the slack part where you stick your thumb in there is no extra twist and I can just drop out with no knot. Also, when I do the mount and then drop into the first hole, I can drop out and get no knot. Is there anything you can think of that could cause this?

I’ve been trying to get ladder escape for like an hour and I got to the slack and it was wrong and I cant get the mount right. When I drop into the first hole it doesn’t get a knot and the slack comes out wrong HELP PLEASE DYING
