If it takes more than a few minutes to pick a knot I just unscrew the yoyo and if needed get a new string. ---

This isnt really a knot, but when I was done using a string at a boyscout camp, i siad that we should use it to help start the campfire we were making. So we did, and it barely burnt :l ---
