# Kendama USA Bamboo Kendama questions

Just picked up a Kendama USA Tribute bamboo kendama the other day (looks and feels really nice). The tama has a shiny gloss coating while being able to see the bamboo laminates underneath. I do have one question though: will this slick surface eventually become more tacky? Or will it just take me practicing keeping that balance there when it comes to doing lighthouses?

The surface will become a little tackier as you platy with it, it just needs to break in.
