# iTunes restore error message

Well I was downgrading my ipod (because I hate 4.2.1) and I have itunes 10. I did everything they told me to do besides opening up some ports. (it says so here [If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support](http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275)) so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do. i don’t know how to open the ports and let my computer access those websites.  
Here are the error messages… it stopped because I think I couldnt contact apple.
