Share the side profile tangents of your stepped/H/inverse round etc - shaped yoyos, and discuss its characteristics in horizontals with reference to normal play.
This is usually trivial for straight V and organic shapes but you can still talk about them if you feel yours has something special worth mentioning.

This yoyo has an inverse stepped H shape. Its horizontal spin time and stability is consistent with that in standard play. It is sensitive to string touching its outer rims, which helps horizontalizations but decreases stability in UFO and rejection tricks by just a little.

This yoyo has an inverse round shape with straight rims. Its horizontal spin time and stability is consistent with that in standard play. It handles UFO hang time well and is moderately sensitive to horizontalizations, but rejections are slightly more difficult.

This yoyo has an inverse round shape with rounded, but still quite steep, rims. Its horizontal spin time and stability is generally consistent with that in standard play. Rejections are easier on this one than the one above, but still often cause the yoyo to tilt.

This yoyo has an organic general shape but with spaces cut out of the curve. Its horizontal spin time and stability is occasionally felt less than that in standard play, mainly during hops and halos. It is very sensitive to deliberate tilt changes, sometimes as if not requiring the string to reach the tangent point on the rims, but maintains stability in normal play when the string doesnt go further than the first cut step. This yoyo plays just like an organic shape in most other aspects.

This yoyo has a stepped round shape with a characteristic step around the gap wall. This yoyo demands higher accuracy than all the yoyos above due to the small gap-tangent angle, only maintaining its spin and stability within this threshold. This small angle also makes rejection of slackened string more difficult.

This yoyo has a stepped V shape. Its horizontal efficiency is notably lower than what could be expected from its performance in regular play, an anomaly that cant be attributed to any apparent feature in shape. With a significantly larger gap-tangent angle, this yoyo is much smoother than the one above in rejections.

Well, that’s one way to verticalize a horizontilization. Lol

I wanted a closer look at how the string interact with the profile, and sometimes hand drawing a simple line isnt enough.

Not quite sure I understand - the string (when pulled tight) IS a simple line - the string will make contact with all of the high-points.
