yeah, it wasn’t until the admins got beat over the head by the members for taking down BLM and yoyo related support posts that they relented with the sweeping delete, lock and ban hammer… by then folks had already started shuffling to FSYB… they banned Circle City because he wasn’t ‘in’ with them and was criticizing the mods nepotistic and power abusing approach to the group… ---

i know of a member that got threatened with being banned when they questioned the mods valuation of a piece… i get to hear all sorts of interesting stories during the ‘vetting’ interviews for fsyb ---

FWIW, I was in that Facebook group for a few weeks earlier this year. Seemed like some decent folks in that group, but overall it just wasn’t as solid as this community. While I personally had no bad experiences on there I got some vibes that told me to dip. I’m good here. ---

there are great people without a doubt - i’ve built solid relationships… but, that’s what i tell people too about going to yye over the fb BST & Talk… being that there are ‘entry qualifications’ based on a strict trade history with the FSYB group. yye’s culture is more friendly and accepting - even with our differences - less insular and elitist… oh, and the mods look out for the entire community and are independent - even of each other. ---

oh, i have it too… that was before the ‘increased security measures’ that were implemented… and then quickly removed after community pushback, lol i got lots of cool screenshots, because unfortunately for them, i have more than one friend in the yoyo community because i like to build relationships, and i don’t act like a jerk to vulnerable and naive randos… whoda’thunk :thinking: ---
