# Isn’t it obvious this bearing is naturally recessed? Or am I missing the spacer? Got accused of modifying a yo-yo I’ve sold. Mind you this throw has sat in a case for 99.9% of its existence…. And maybe 30 minutes of play time. They claimed that the Monarch is modified because of the gap…… But isn’t it obvious the bearing naturally recesses into the throw but the gap is the same? Can almost assure it wasn’t like that upon shipping. As I almost never opened this yo-yo but maybe twice. If so is there a way to get new spacers? @Tempura ---

If you reach out to Dressel they can probably help you. There are also shims/spacers sold on YYE for C bearing yoyos that should fit but might not give the original gap width. ---

Yeah mine lost the spacers a while back after a kid wanged it across the playground at club. I bought more here I think at the time and without them the yoyo basically doesn’t play.
