# Is the dv888 bead blasted?

I keep hearing that the dv888 is bead blasted. Is it true? My superstar isn’t

No it ano but you could get it beadblast by one or more of the Forum members here

?? beadblasting and ano typically go hand in hand… the yoyo is blasted with media (in this case, tiny beads) and then anodized…

Sorry, don’t know about the dv888. It looks textured one way or another. I suspect it’s beadblasted, but can’t confirm.

I’m pretty sure it’s tumbled. Less aggressive finish, softer, but not quite as good for grinds.

Definitely not bead blasted. The finish feels similar to the tumble finish found on most One Drops.
