# Is my bearing ok?

Hey guys before i start i used the search bar and nothing so i added lube to my x-convict bearing and no i didnt clean it first so that may be the problem but when i lubed it, it turned responsive do i just break it in ??? thanks in advance for the help 😃

If you do not clean it before you lube it will not make it responsive. And you probably put to much lube that’s all. Just play with it for a while and will go away.

yah you only need about a tip of a needle

Actually I’d recommend cleaning it. Lube lasts very very long. Considering you put about a drop or two that should last you for a couple of months.

Definitely not Jake. I can play out a full drop or two in a couple of hours. Just play with it for a few days and see how it goes. Nothing wrong with a little responsive play anyways.

You may play out the responsiveness but not the lube. The lube will stay in there for a long time.

I’d say clean it then blow it out and lube it with a small amount of lube.
