Hi there!
I’m a yoyo beginner, and for the moment I struggle with the basic throws.
I’d love to meet nearby yoyoers, who could help me correct my mistakes.
I’m learning with a Yoyo factory One, and I live in the south of France, near Nice.
So, let’s crawl through this forum’s posts and see what I can learn :wink:
BTW, I’m a former juggler, and am quite surprised I’ve seen plenty of diabolists in european juggling conventions, but not many yoyoers.

Similar story to mine aswell. I`m Kamil from the Netherlands and my first intro to yoyo was back in the 90`s hype aswell. Forgot about it eventually untill november `19 when I visited an event where people were giving chaep yoyo`s away as a promotional gift. Well I tried playing with it just to see if I could do the tricks I learned 20 years ago like rock the baby, around the world etc. Fastforward to today; I have 20+ decent yoyo`s, throwing every day and learning new tricks. No regrets, just wondering how good I could be today if I didn`t quit practicing in my teens…

How you doing I’ve been doing yo-yo tricks since I was a little kid retired now hands are kind of done but still like my yo-yos but I’d like to sell one very special one some of my favourite tricks used to be walk the dog around the world the trapeze swing rock and a few others

Sup. I’m Goog, been Yoyoing for over 4 years but have never used the YYE forums. My favorite brands are SF and Amplified, and I have many others that I support as well. My favorite yoyo is the Bliss and my favorite trick is double slap Brent Stole. I sometimes post tricks on my Instagram @Googahgee and I dye yoyos pretty colors.

Hey, my name is Sean, I’m long time forum stalker, recently joined. I’ve been throwing off and on since… 1997? 1998? But I’ve taken a number or 3-4 year breaks. I started throwing again and currently rotate a Markmont Classic and an Overture but I’m honestly mostly here to try and find an OG Bapezilla, I had one years ago and when they went up in value I sold it because I got too scared to throw it… I’m older now and realize I was dumb lol
Excited to be back in the community, learn what’s new in the yoing world and hopefully find that Bapezilla.
Great to ‘meet’ everyone!

Hello, hello. My name is Sergio, and I just got my first yoyo. It’s a Silenus, yeah kinda a bad yoyo for a beginner, ik, but I’ve been having fun with it and it is pretty cool. I thought about yoyos when playing Terraria, and got into yoyos that way. I ordered my first one last Thursday, actually, and it’s a blast. Thank you for reading, and I intend to learn yoing the best I can

Hello all.
I found this forum after ordering some new throws for the first time in a few years. Decided to get back into throwing after a hiatus of sorts. I think the last one I bought was a YYF 888, so that was awhile ago. So i added a couple of new ones over the last 2 months and have been throwing the new and the old again. Trying to remember the tricks I used to do and add some new ones. Looking forward to browsing the forum and seeing what people are throwing and what tricks they are doing. I’m really excited to have found this forum.

Hello all, my name is Sean and I just recently picked up throwing again after a 15 year break. My first yoyo was a Duncan freehand in elementary school, so around 2005. Just recently picked it up again in October as I needed something to do in order to break up the monotony of physics 2 study sessions (Electricity and Magnetism are pure magic, try and convince me otherwise). I am now a DPT student in grad school. The most complicated trick I can do as of right now is probably only Calypso, but looking to get better every day. My current go to throw is my emerald Hummingbird.
