# Interesting mod idea (something I can't do, just putting it out there)

I’ve always thought it would be cool if you sand down the nipples on some CLYW’s. I don’t know how easy it would be, or if it would even work with the axle and stuff, but I think it’s an interesting idea. It would be cool to do some matador tricks with a CLYW, or just any yoyo you would be able to do this with. It would be kind of risky though, as you may permanently damage it.

It’s just an idea, but what do you think? Or has it been done before?

I actually have an envy 64 where the standing was done and the modder put on hubstacks

I have played an Avalanche with delrin spikes fitted over the hub. It played really nice. The spikes were really sharp though. I heard that YYN used to sell them.
