# Interested in the General-Yo Essence

Hi everyone,
I’m pretty interested in the Gen Yo essence. Cna you give me some feedback of your experiences with it?
I’m interested in it because it is small diameter and hefty. That’s my kind of combination.
Let me know your thoughts on it.

I bought it when it was first released 10ish years ago and it was my favorite yoyo until General Yo released the KLR. Plays most similarly to a Peak 2 I think, but a bit more hollow feeling (in a good way). Kinda feels like if someone took the Hatrick and made it more full-sized. Still one of my all time favorite organics, and you should definitely pick one up if you can find one!

More hollow than the peak is not how I expected this yoyo to play… The Peak is very light at under 64g. I would have though from the design and weight that it would feel pretty hefty and poweful. Perhaps It’s not the kind of thing I’m after.

Have you ever tried the YYF Gen Xs? It fits this description and is a very good yo-yo.
