I’m not going to read through all 5 pages on replies to see if this is here yet, but make it a challenge. It works especially if they say they can do it. If they just make fun of you for it, then ask if they think it’s easy. They’ll probably say yes, or they already said it’s easy to do. Then you hand them a plastic yoyo and show them up. Start with a simple bind. Most likely they will say it’s broken, give it back, and walk away. If not, show them like Brain Twister or something. Continue until you pwn their face off. Lol. ---

when I got my first unresponsive yoyo, someone did try to shut me down by saying it was easy. I gave him the yoyo and told him to “throw it and bring it back to your hand. easy for you, right?” he then gave it a crooked throw and tugged for all his worth to try to get it to come up. his excuse? “its broken!” hmmmm works fine for me… ---

That’s the idea! It’s really good if you get it just responsive enough that a nice big tug will bring it back, but those wimpy little tugs that most people do won’t. :wink: I’m not making these things up either. ---

LOL!!! That’s awesome!!! That would work too, its always fun to shut people down. I have some tool that I work w/ running his mouth that he is glad he doesn’t have to see the YoYo champ (me) anymore. The funny thing too is that he is putting this on Facebook and not saying it to my face. He’s a jacka$$, 😃 ---

something i do sometimes, is take the bearing out and hand it to someone with only the axle. It is so fun to watch. I also hand them my hayabusa(always offstring) and when they throw it, tell then that they broke it. Pick it up, and do some awesome 4a. ---
