# Images on Yoyos?

Hey guys, what do you all think is the best process (without disturbing how the yo plays) to put images onto a metal yoyo? I read about the special anodizing that images can be transferred with, but the colors seemed translucent, or muted. I have seen people physically paint them on (perfect weight distribution looks hard to maintain), and I suspect screen printing exists too. I thought about customizing a yoyo with some images, just for my own enjoyment, but I wanted to reach out to the experts before I tried and messed something up. Have a good one guys.

Look up hydro dipping or water transfer printing.

MFD has experience with this and I think Gruntbull is working on it as well, I’m not sure what the technical term for it is though.
