Hi! Im just an oldhead thrower that loves yoyos that arnt being produced anymore. Figured i make a post introducing myself. Im still learning how to navigate this website. Anyone else out there still obsessed with old yoyos like CLYW, SPYY, some older One Drops? Lets talk about them! ---

I am seeing lots of these “what old yo-yo do you like”? and now this thread. Is someone going to start producing these old throws again and this is part of the hype? Or, is it just coincidence? Old yo-yos are just that. ---

fty produced 4 undersized old throws to what would be again. the project-y, pv44, project ti and the 138. depending on the dimensions you’re looking, for modern pieces they were undersized, but for the early to mid 2000s era, our pieces would have been modern. ---

I remember buying it at the YYN drop! Loved it then and still do! (Speaking of original drops, my MOM actually succeeded in buying me the OG Peak at the drop to give it to me for Xmas, but I eventually sold mine to Steve!) ---

Man! That was a lot of comments already! I’ll answer a few questions. Ive been throwing for years. Too many to count haha. Im also mastering rancid milk right now, hence the name 😃 Right now im currently throwing an OG Avalanche. Been rotating a bit with a few though. I scored a ring bearer because i am an absolte LOTR nerd. Not toooo fond of the shape though but it is really good. I have a small collection of probably 50 or 60 throws. I have actually found a lot of them through local sales and bought some gems from people on reddit. Someone advised me to look on here and i would have better luck so here i am and so far im loving it! You guys are awesome and so welcoming! ---

One to watch is CLYW Leaf, a Chief follow up. They did a release of Blue out of the gate with more to come at some point.
