Anyone going to Michigan state or Illinois state 2024? I’m relatively close to both and was thinking about attending. ---

Also do they usually have any booths? Or different brands? ---

I have no idea really I’ve never been either! I talked to the promoter for a little bit at worlds but it seems like it’ll be pretty big and competitive for a state contest. I’m really just guessing bc it’s the only state contest that happens over two days vs a single day event. I really don’t know this but I would guess that there will definitely be vendors selling yo-yos there. ---

When/where are the contests? I’m failing to find info about the IL one via google. ---

There was a booth at worlds where the promoter had some antique yo-yos and they had this sign up with a save the date. I don’t think they have made an IG or released much info about it yet so this is all we know so far! ![453357005_457847130457152_2582352678378919111_n](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex015/uploads/yoyoexpert1/original/4X/f/4/8/f48605ee077174ea26214a16f95584010cbb8eb8.jpeg) If you scan the QR code, you can submit your email and get added to the mailing list so that you get updates on the event. ---

I’d look on YouTube for how to make/structure a comp ready freestyle, like for ideas. Also take in account the rules, which can be found online, to ensure you know what scores and what deducts points. Sign ups online I think? Just look up something along the lines of michigan state yoyo comp 2024? Hope this helps :,) ---
