# I made my own yoyo holster

I made my own yoyo holster today using some paracord and and carabiner.  
Maybe not the most intricate design but it does the job.

I’m still looking for a more permanent way to knot it to the clip. Because it’s prone to untying itself. So if you have any ideas, I would be happy to hear.

Maybe the Rapala Knot. Or the Uni Knot. Never lost a lure yet…

Whenever I find myself needing a holster, I remember i know how to make them, haha

But experiment is my advice! Try what Jhb said

Yeah man, if it works, then who cares? But if you wanna get fancy, you can do the cobra stitch, or just google fancy knots, etc…

I forget if para-cord is made with mostly synthetic fabric or not. if it is you can take some heat to it like a lighter for a second or two to kinda melt the fibers together once you’ve found a knot you like. id test it out on a couple scrap pieces of cord first so you don’t ruin the one you’ve got now.
