# I just bought a YYFVelocity yoyo. Is this a good yoyo for beginners?

I’m new to yoyo ing and i recently bought a YYF velocity yoyo. was this a good decision. I’m looking for a responsive and non responsive yoyo for when i get better.

It would have been a little smarter to ask before you buy, but luckily, you made a fine choice. A Velocity is great for a beginner. 🙂

Also, know that you can be good and still play responsive. :wink:
