When whip the string make sure that when you start turning ur hand that the string hits your non dominant hand first.  
I never got this but when I started to play around with the string just whipping it around the right way I finally started to understand how it worked.  
To practice try just whipping the string as much as you can until it pretty smooth. Then you can try getting the hook and getting it all at once  
This took me 6 months to learn but since I was just bad at learning this and didn’t rlly know how it worked it shouldn’t be that hard

Congrats. I still havent gone down the rabbit hole for 2.0 yet. Hooks are tough to learn.
