So, I finally got around to taking pictures of it. It is really smooth and the hubstacks do not stick out on the edges. I just tried it. stripped my pgm axle, and now i need a new one, but i can definitely see how this is possible. ---

I think it is really cool! The dv888 is not painted, it is anodized, I think. ---
