# hubstacked catalyst

hey guys is the hubstacked catalyst the same as the normal catalyst just with hubstacks?? and more weight of course…  
which one do u reccomend? :-\

If you take the hubstacks off of a stacked catalyst, it will play like any other catalyst. With stacks on it is much heavier. I prefer the stacked catalyst because it is cheaper and has a blasted finish.

The stacked catalyst does have a slightly different weight distribution than the regular catalyst. It has the nubs on the hub to be able to install the hubstacks. It’s not much, but it’s there and it does make a different feeling when playing.

Huh, I never noticed. I will have to see if I feel that next time I see a catalyst at club.
