I use a KK bearing and no caps with either angel hair or alchemy string, everything else is stock. I really like the o-ring response, but I have thought about taking out the starburst. That setup seems to work well for me. I think I heard Andre uses a stock response also in his.

I’m not a yoyojam kid i am Duncan but in the videos it looks like he put another different bearing in it because when Andre showed some tricks sideways I saw a gold coloerd bearing instead of a standerd silver bearing.And he took both side caps off hope that helps :wink:
