# How to unshield this kind of bearings ?

Hi community,  
I got one of these bearings (size C) and I want to clean it thoroughly since it doesn’t sound nice and its kinda responsive. It came heavily lubed so I already cleaned it shielded twice but it wasn’t enough. I have it almost unresponsive now and gives pretty good spin times but still sounds like something’s wrong plus I don’t want to hit my hand with an unwanted bind 'cause of sudden response.

Does anyone know how to unshield it ?
