I just got given an old Duncan light-up yoyo and was wondering if there is any way to fix the vibe since it’s INSANE. Also if you want to know how much vibe it’s enough to create a standing wave in the string that is about 1.5-2 inches at the peaks/anti-nodes.

Try rotating the parts. If it uses a screw and a nut for the axle, just rotate the halves:

This will be your best bet if it uses a screw/nut axle. Otherwise, open it up and try moving the parts inside around.

Props for using anti-node haha.

Go with jhb’s advice. But honestly, you’ve got an old, cheap, plastic yoyo; there’s not a whole lot you can do.

Nah It’s a fixed axle and it doesn’t have any parts you can really move. I was thinking about throwing tape inside or something, but I was unsure if it would move and constantly screw up more.

Yeah, if you can remove the caps then adding a small weight inside is an option. You just need to find the right position.
