# How to do yoyoexpert "X" trick?

So everytime my yye app pops up, i get a graffic of a kid doing a yoyo trick with the yoyo in the middle and an X shape with the strings, is there a tutorial for that trick?

Haha, I don’t think that’s supposed to be a kid. Anyways, I heard from somewhere that YYE is working in a tutorial soon. The best thing I can tell ya is try coming up with it by yourself. There are also people who show how to do it here on the forums. Sorry that I didn’t help much, though.

I know this is kind of bumping an old thread. I was curious if anyone has figured a smoother way to complete this trick other than how it’s done in the video?

I had a idea about how it might be done but it’s beyond my current skill level so I’m interested to see if I was even close.
