I bought a red wooden Duncan Yoyo. Does anyone know the year it was made? It seems to me as though there is no definitive way to determine age beyond the “R” symbol being prior to 1965. Your time frame is pretty correct, as far as quality and playability goes the original ones are one piece wood with the glitter paint job. The reproductions are solid colors and 3 piece construction. Side note the expert awards are still 1piece but they don’t have as large of glitter flakes. I totally recommend a chick flick movie, if your movie theater is in a mall, go by the pet story and play with the puppies, and then end with Olive Garden and the endless breadsticks.👊 ---
