I would say absolutely to the card throwing. It’s another odd little skill/hobby/talent.
How about juggling? I can’t but I’d be willing to bet there are some here who can.
Anyone good on a unicycle? If so I’m envious. I’ve never ridden one. Feel as though I may be missing out on something…
Oh and then card houses, several years ago I got into that. Made some nice ones.

Ehh, I cant do any of that. But I do
1)Play the tenor slide trombone in both concert and marching band
2)Try to play the guitar
3)Enjoy a chess game from time to time
4)play Guitar hero on expert
5)play to many strategy games…
Not realy skill toys but still cool stuff that takes some skill.

I can solve a cube in 1:28 seconds and play guitar hero on expert. I can even play guitar but I’m still just a mediocre player. I don’t know about your method dude. later.
