# How Often Do You Change Your String

every time i feel i need to.
never set time. some string last for very long time, some need change often.
just make sure i got the performance i need, if not, its time to change string.

I guess everyone has their own preference, eh…
As for me, I try to keep a string for as long as I can, up to 2 weeks if I can help it. The thing is, I use that Brazillian Mondo string, the 100% polyester stuff, cos its lovely. And, its like bubblegum, sweet as you like for a short while, then it starts to lose its flavour, you know what I mean? So there’s my answer…2 weeks if I can help it, purely to conserve my stock of strings, but it usually ends up being 3 to 4 days. If I’m lucky. I’m really not helping much here, am I…
