How often do good kendama players land hard tricks such as the Lunar?

Well, for /really really/ good kendama players a lunar might as well be a trapeze. However, kendama tricks will typically be something that you will “sesh” out - take a few minutes to stab out and then go “heyyyyyyy” when you land it.

It blows my mind seeing the tricks some of the good players around me land. There is a reason they are _skill_ toys. I just look forward to when I’ve put in enough time and effort that landing Lighthouse isn’t such a shock.
