# How many yo-yos do you throw per day?

Just a quick question, how many different throws on average do you usually use per day. I have handfuls of throws in strategic places, plus my displays, so I’ll average from two to six per day I’d say.
What about you cats?

I’m right there with you in the 2-6 range. I’ll throw one for a bit, might pick it back up a second time. But I usually pick up a different yoyo each time I throw. If it’s new I’ll pick it up more frequently.

I don’t usually keep track of how much time I spend playing daily. There are weeks when I don’t even bother playing. I play very little. But I’d say I like to rotate them; I remember one, then another, etc. Then I separate them, leave them on the table, and play with them. I’d say between 5 and 10.

I keep pretty much all my yoyos ready to go, I usually will throw between 1-6 a day as well though. I kill at least a string a day.

I usually keep my executive on me at all times if I’m outa the house. If I’m just kinda kicking it at the spot, I’d say anywhere from 2-5 daily. The days I have off I’ll restring a lot of them, so on off days it can be as high as 10 or 20. Then there are some days when I’ll only throw the Luftverk.
I have a lot of throws. More than most, less than some. 😁 I will say that there aren’t many that leave the house.

I usually rotate between 1-3 throws a day, but can definitely relate to not having the energy or motivation to throw when my mental state isn’t in a great place, feels like an impossible task/chore instead of a fun hobby so I’m super glad to see multiple people chiming in on that aspect 🙂

I have a policy of spreading my love evenly throughout my collection. Sometimes I’m a bit infatuated with one and want to pick it up for multiple days in a row, especially if it’s new to me; but often I’ll switch yoyos mid play-session for a bit of variety or if I’m getting frustrated with what I’m practicing and just want a change of pace.
TL;DR 1–2, occasionally 3

I like to pick out 1 responsive and 1 unresponsive to use throughout the day. If I have the energy for a proper throw session in the evening once the kids are in bed then I’ll flick through 5 or 6 other throws from the case.
