If I threw a yoyo at work I would be beat with a stick. If they found out I even owned or spent any time playing with a yoyo, I would never ever hear the end of it. Never… Including but not limited to daily lectures about time management, guilt trips and shaming (they try at least but that stuff doesn’t really motivate or affect me) and of course yelling about the progress of my foreign language studies. Its not possible at this stage in my life. I really throw to release and escape BS. Sometimes I just hold or fiddle with throws, and sometimes I just throw it down just to bind immediately… yoyoing really does take more effort than assumed. But responsive is reeeeally fun too. Nice easy flows ---

yeah I do around 2-4 hours a day, as of recent it’s been more like 30mins to an hour but i imagine that’ll change soon ---

You notice that even though you gave a reasonably logical explanation\> That you didn’t even answer the question? Kinda like somebody asking how much time you spend exercising? …… and you might say, ‘Well I used to walk a lot but I don’t walk much anymore’. ---

Oof. Sounds like the people at your work need actual work to do; or you need a different place to work. I find that throwing at/during work helps reset my brain - especially, if I’m working on a project or problem that I’m currently stuck on. And in regards to the thread question, when I first started, I was throwing between 4-9 hours a day. Now, it’s about 4-10 hours a week. ---

The weird thing is, I rarely practice, but when I do, I get so into it that I can barely stand the next day, lol. As far as hours, though, I probably average about 3 hours a week. ---

If you want to sit and yoyo then learn how to loop. Just yesterday I landed my first shoot the moon while sitting on a chair (otherwise I’d be hitting the ceiling) ---
