I picked up yoyoing in late 2010 but feel like I’ve actually learned tons more over the course of the past 10 months. When I picked a yoyo back up I was hoping it wasn’t going to be one of those short phases that I’ll occasionally go through (lasting about a month).

3 months. Beginning of November I could barely rock the baby… Now I’m still working on all the basics but have also learned matrix, gondola, green revolution, suicides, etc. Now working on kwyjibo. Having a total blast with this and it’s been super encouraging to see some progess along the way!

I have been yoyoing for 1 year. I find it very fun. My first yoyo was a YYF shutter which I got in Christmas of 2014.

It all started when John Higby came to my library to perform. He was awesome, so u decided to become an amazing yoyoer too. I bought my first metal drifter, then a yomega maverick, and I was off. I’ve been throwing for 4-5 years now.
