# How do you take out lateral caps from a quest?

Push lightly on the outer edge of the lateral cap, almost like you’re pushing the lateral cap forward and out of the yoyo. It should pop out pretty easily.

how would you get your finger to the edge of the lateral cap?

You push down on the rim of the outside face.

??? :-[ :-\i tried so many times and they still won’t come out… is there any other way?

no, suction cups aren’t strong enough to take them out.

Did you hear a pop after pushing? If so, that means the lateral cap is off center, and a suction cup will work. BTW What color is your Quest? (it makes a small difference).
