# How do you edit free style music?

Just understand that it is not something you just decided to do, and then do without effort. It takes a while to learn these programs and get efficient. Live is good for mashups. Search YouTube for some detailed vedoes on editing.

You need to click on the “File” menu (upper LHS) and save it as a new version. Your original remains the same.

Hey guys, I got another editing question. Let’s say you want to make a freestyle song that is a combonation of multiple songs, how would you take certain tunes form different videos and combine them into one consecutive audio? I have tried looking it up but no luck. I am currently using Audacity, do I need something else? Thanks

You can load the music into separate tracks and mix/crossfade them at different points.
