Hello, I have started learning hook recently and I find it extremely hard to do it. The string usually doesn’t run into my finger. But if it does, it will turn into a GT. Please help me!

Make sure you get the string to start going around clockwise, then place your finger across the 2 string segments (when on left side of yoyo, if right handed), not just the 1. Then, catch the loop on the yoyo. I forget which way catching the loop causes a hook gt, i think front string catching on top, but I could be wrong. Try catching the back (closest to you) string first, as I think that is the hook one. Remember to roll then pull string out from opposite side to dismount, then bind however.

Good luck!
