anybody else click anything to do with the website and get some weird medical website? if this is a common issue, does anyone know what the heck happened?

It looks like the domain registration expired in February and got snagged by one of those scam companies that like to grab domains the moment they expire and put a webpage running a scam up there, its a good bet the page is loaded with malware and sketchy ad serving.
You can find an archive of the original site on the internet archive, it looks like the last capture was in February:

Many of the vids are available on youtube though.
There are some great ideas for quick and easy tricks there
