Hey Steve, Did you play offstring with the viper. I mean I bought mine 1995 and I think there was no thing like offstring back then. Just curious. ---

I tried and never got that good at it 🙂 I bought it around 1995??? Offstring was a thing, but Hiro was the only guy I ever saw in videos doing cool stuff. ---

Maybe it was also 1997 not sure but definitely way before 2000. but interesting I had no clue offstring was a thing back then. It is a German brand so you could buy them here in every toy store. Was my first ball bearing yoyo. I will dig it up and try it right away. Thanks for the idea! ---

I found them to be extremely slippy in the gap, so always ran a fabric or silicone friction sticker. Have fun! ---
