That’s really appreciated, but honestly, after you get into it and settled a bit, try a variety, as we all have different preferences.

This is news to me @smileypants707! I assumed he was talking about regular poly strings, but it sounds like Chris is wearing out Kitty Nylons.
Chris, can you clarify if this is 1.5 Nylon (which I _assume_ is mixed nylon/poly) or pure Nylon? I am thinking you must have 1.5 because I can’t imagine pure Nylon wearing out in hours.

I ordered the Kitty nylons but no longer have the box to check the label. I am really hard on string - all I practice is frontside and it’s all high speed with ALOT of imperfect throws as I started trying new (or just stuff I never saw) and weird mounts for spins around different fingers so I am guilty of a lot of friction with the string so they get frayed quickly. I think my definition of “wearing out” a string may be different than yours. When strings start to show fray and look thinner than when I put them on they feel and behave very slightly differently (may be my imagination) but don’t have broken threads or severe fray I still change them. have not tried the strings you sent yet because I wanted to use up what I have and trying one for the first time will be like a little present. I appreciate all the feedback.
