# help! silicone rings fell out on my dv888!

the rings fell out and i tried puting them back in but the rings are bigger than the holes, do i need to glue them in? what am i supposed to do?

the rings are fine they fell out, i just dont know how to get them back in, the rings are a bigger circumference than the yoyo allows, so i dont understand how they fit in there

If you somehow got lube on them they will expand.  
They are no good anymore.  
Replace them with either flowable/RTV silicone or use premade slim pads of some kind.

It’s because they wore out. You can either buy new ones, or silicone your yoyo.

that must be what happened i lubed my yoyo earlier today. which is the best way to go, the silicone, or the slim pads?

How much bigger are they? Have you tried to just push them back in, working your way around the circumference?

I recommend siliconing your yoyo, because it’s cheaper, although it does require practice and patience.

update: siliconed my yoyo with flowable silicone, plays like a champ, thanx everyone for your help.
