# Help my yoyo became responsive

It could need to be broken in as SR said. Could be a couple other things though. Is this the same yo-yo that you made a thread about saying you got monkey snot all over it? If that’s the case (or even if it’s not) you may have silicone in the bearing seat area. This will prevent the bearing from spinning freely. You’d need to take the yo-yo apart and carefully inspect the bearing seat. Also, how long did you let the silicone cure?

I let it set for about a hour And also by bearing seat do you mean spacers

The silicone needs about 24 hours to fully cure.
