# Help! I can't string the yoyo

Hi! I am really new to the yoyo and just bought one off Amazon, which was probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done. But now, I can’t string it correctly, every time it just spins 180 degrees and then repeats. I don’t know how to explain that well but it looks weird. Does anyone have suggestions for what to do next?

Does it come apart? It sounds like the string could be pinched into the side of one of the halfs.

Take it apart, put it back together with the string off. Put the string on like in the video, if that was the issue. Send us pics for further diagnosis if that doesn’t work.
