So I’m working on snap starts, and I think I’m at a point where I’m getting enough spin from the yoyo, my problem now is with my binds. I’m having a hard time getting it to bind all the way back to my hand with a slow spin.
I think I’m getting pretty close to getting it down…but would love some tips. Especially if anyone can point me to any videos that might help!

One thing you can do is use gravity to your advantage. Instead of just binding normally, try to bind with the yoyo higher than your throw hand.
Another thing you can do is a quick regen off the half wound string, getting more spin, then bind normally.

And here’s a post from Smiley with a video

> I made a little tutorial explaining one of the ways that you can bind a very slow turning yoyo successfully. This method can also be applied to snap starting, since it is pretty difficult to snap start a yo-yo with enough RPM to get the yoyo to return back to your hand. Enjoy!
