just got a Meerkat. Iā€™ve been able to do ghost bind for a while now. I remember first seeing the trick trying once then saying itā€™s impossible. Later to come back and realize it wasnā€™t actually that hard and I got first try. I donā€™t really do it that often for whatever reason ---

I mean, you could definitely get an axle knot from any bind if you arenā€™t careful. You just got to git gud at doing them ---

Of course if youā€™re not careful, any kind of trick can get messed up. Its all about practice, and more importantly, practicing it the right way. That said, binds that operate with just one hand have a higher chance of getting an axle knot if you donā€™t line up the string properly to the same plane as where youā€™re yoyoā€™s catch zone is. ā€˜Basicā€™ binds that uses two hands have a lesser chance since you have a non-throw hand holding the string and helping guide it to the catch zone ---

Itā€™s a calculus joke lol (such a nerd) Basically, to find the slope of a secant line, you only need to use the formula for a slope between the two points (2nd y value) - (1st y value) * * * (2nd x value) - (1st x value) While for a tangent line, you need calculus to determine the derivative of the function.
