You have a good eye for details! It was our initial idea, but we changed the angle to give it more a “diamond shape” (new shape unlocked). The d014 was a test because we wanted to make a d013 without the caps (unibody). Sadly while we was removing materials form the inside it started vibe a little. That’s the reason for the scratch on the outside surface. ---

Beautiful!! Do you know if the Delrin ones are turned with the same lathe and tools as the wood? I’m just starting my wood turning journey - would love to try some other mediums. ---

We’re using tools for aluminium/stainless steel. I did a double take when I saw is disassembled, 🤣🤣🤣 I wonder if there will be any durability issues with the glued hubs like in D.016? Edit: I so wish I could try the laminate bushing ones! ---

It’s definitely a challenge to play with it. Mostly because the big bearing make difficult the bind. I’m playing it 5A trying to make the string pass through the hub and doing something but until now without much success LOL ---

I don’t think glued is a problem because there is also some interference. We glued them before lathing. If it can handle the manufacturing I think can handle the play too. The laminate bushing are awesome to play with. Zero noise because there is no bearing. Super floaty and fast. And they spin pretty long to be basically a bushing on an axle.
