# Gyro trick - NOT gyroscopic flop

Hey All,

Any help, much appreciated. Please can someone name the gyro type trick where you’re in a sort of chopstick with your free hand and you start the yoyo twisting on its axis and then it moves round your thumb on its own and twists on its axis again to get back onto the string?

I hope I’ve explained this clearly. Its a real simple trick but I dont know the name and every search with yoyo and gyro results in a gyroscopic flop. AH!

Mexican Duck Pond is pretty similar, if you are looking for something in the same style BTW.
