The kendama I did was with a sharpie pen, but I don’t think that the roughness of the EH will necessarily work very well with a pen or marker. The brush can get down into the deeper parts of the grain to comlete the lines and color blocks. ---

Do you think the watercolor will last on there? I painted my EH with acrylic and it started chipping after a while… I’m gonna try india ink next tho thats a good idea looks great! ---
